We pay out the salary of the previous week every Friday. In almost all cases you will have the salary in your account on Friday.
Each pay slip contains various components that relate to your salary.
Try to write down your hours for your own administration at all times. Please note that breaks are not paid. If your hours are incorrect, indicate in concrete terms what you think is incorrect (for example, the number of hours worked). This can be done by e-mail to: Jobcoach@Looijeagf.nl. If you are right, a correction will be made as soon as possible with the next payment.
This varies from person to person. It depends on your income and assets, among other things. Tax brackets with different rates apply in the Netherlands. Payroll tax is calculated on the hours worked. A special rate is calculated when a “special” reward takes place. Think, for example, of a bonus, performance surcharge, settlement of the reservations, etc.
The costs for accommodation are deducted from your salary.
ET-settlement (Extraterritoriale cost) this is a tax settlement that makes it possible to give a tax-free allowance to employees who live abroad (for example Poland) and work temporarily in the Netherlands. A flex worker then waives a part of taxed wages and receives a tax-free allowance in return.
In order to be able to use the ET settlement, certain conditions must be met, which you will be informed about during registration.
- Holiday pay is paid weekly with payout of the wages (every week);
- Payment of the holiday hours are paid during the leave or after termination of employment;
- Payment after termination of employment takes place after 6 weeks after you have left employment;

Employee must know that the first 2 sick days are not paid (waiting days).
In the case of continued payment of wages from the employer, the sickness benefit is calculated on the basis of the legal presumption of 13 calendar weeks prior to the first day of incapacity for work.
During the first 52 weeks of incapacity for work, the employee is entitled to 91% of the actual hourly wage with a minimum of 100% of the statutory minimum wage. After 52 weeks of incapacity for work, 80% of the hourly wage (minimum statutory minimum wage per hour) is paid in sick pay.
If you have any questions regarding the payment of wages during the illness, go to Sick and absenteeism procedure
